I couldn't resist posting this...
As I was cleaning out my closet, I found my blue lipstick from my whole "i'm going to be different" stage. I ran into the bathroom, put it on, and decided to cover my face with blue glitter, blue lipstick, and that pastel bluish colored eye shadow. I stared in the mirror for a few minutes and oculdn't stop laughing... at 2 am, mind you.

Yes... I think I must be completely clueless....

Ok, giving all the shit that I have seen going on lately, it's time to get this place rolling again.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

o.k. I don't really go around soliciting... much. but I'm asking everyone to go to my newly flushed out message board and reply to ONE thing. Why because I've gone to all of yours when you've asked - I've vote on all your cam links when I visit your sites and because I CAN'T see LJ - Pamie.com is over and I'm dying here. I'm home all alone - Bob is tied up <--not literaly although according to the writing in the men's room at The Hustler - she likes it like that --> anyways so I'm bored, lonely and getting a headache from banging my head on my desk. So if you would please give me a reason to smile and a wee bit on entertainment on this fine monday evening. (and as always it opens in a new window)

Click me :)

p.s no restrictions and you don't need a username/password - just put any old thing in user name and it will work.

The following is something that I posted in my journal, but I also wanted to post it here:

Okay, so like I said, yesterday I watched High Fidelity which is a very cool movie. If you aren't familiar with the movie, John Cusack plays the proprietor of a vintage record (you know records, LP's, albums, remember them?) store, and of course he is very into music including newer music although he favors the kind of stuff that had a chance to get produced on vinyl.

Anyway, John and his music store buddies spend a lot of time doing a couple of things in the movie. First, they make a lot of "Top Five" lists like top five side one track one songs, or top five best albums of all time. Second, they make tapes. John even has a brief discourse on some of the secrets of making a good compilation tape. (For anyone out there who might not remember vinyl records, making a compilation tape is a lot like burning downloaded MP3s onto a CD-ROM). I really liked those aspects of the movie, because they reminded me of things my friends and I used to do.

NOW, the other thing that happened to me yesterday is that someone got my hormones all nice and percolated. (You know who you are) Those two parts of my day sort of collided together resulting in my coming up with my list of the top five songs I would want to see on a compilation tape to listen to while ..... well, while getting' some. Of course, I have to share the list with you folks out there in LJ land, and of course, I want to know what songs are on your list. If nothing else, I hope this proves a pleasant distraction on a Monday. OK, here's my list, counting up from number 5:

5. (newest on the chart, but moving up with a bullet) Lady Marmalade - Moulin Rouge Soundtrack

4. Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd

3. You Can Leave Your Hat On - Joe Cocker (9 1/2 Weeks Soundtrack)

2. Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye

1. Layla (Unplugged Version) - Eric Clapton

I'm Still Here
Quite frankly, I haven't been in here to much lately because my area of LJ seems pretty drama free these days.

I had to drop in though and wish everyone a Happy 4th of July.

Eat hot dogs and hamburgers, drink a beer, and have a blast!
